16 November - Greenhat Workshop 1430-1930

17-19 November - SURF WEEKEND with transport to and from Strandhill and interior BBQ in the evenings and music. Boards, wetsuits & tuition supplied.

24-26 November - DOCTORS workshop on Art & Alternative Healing Practice in Hospitals – open to all involved in Health Care –

1-3 December - Whats in the Stars for Starters?
Astronomy Weekend – learning what the night sky contains. Usually the clearest night skies happen this time of year. Warm fires, chat, watching, learning.

2nd December - World Music Dance Sat 2nd Dec 10pm-4am
Eclectic music from across the world. Whirl in the Gyreum’s central Hall. Price includes soup supper, overnight stay b.y.o. sleeping bag & breakfast €29. Bring your own drinks.

8-10 December - Russian Weekend at the Gyreum.

The Gyreum will host a Russian Movie-in weekend showing Tolstoy's War & Peace, the 1966 Soviet version, 10 hours spread over three days and serving Russian cuisine and will include a talk by a Russian Orthodox Priest. BYOB Plenty of comforting Russian cuisine. SECOND SUNDAY – A RUSSIAN ORTHODOX PRIEST

10 December @ 7pm - Sunday night at the movies,
Frank Stapleton’s comedy The Fifth Province, preceded by The Poorhouse. Meet the director after the movie. Movie & organic munchies €15, €11 concession, in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Ireland.

14 December - Gyreum Gallery 6-9pm

Opening night of work by local Artists
Exhibit continues till 12th March, free entry

16 December - KOREAN WEEKEND - Each Quarter THE GYREUM hosts a weekend of events and socials for differing ethnic groups - a chance for them to socialise among themselves.

20-22 December - Solstice Retreat

23-26 December - Christmas Craicers at the Gyreum
